Resources for the Newly Diagnosed

If your child has just received a diagnosis, you may not know what to do or where to go. We took the same first steps you are taking as you begin your journey into the complex world of Autism.

Since we have been in shoes similar to your own, we want to provide you with some websites that can help point you in the right direction.  The following websites have useful information on Autism and lists of various resources available:

Autism Speaks First 100 Days Tool Kit

Autism Speaks Family Services Webpage

Interactive Autism Network:  Newly Diagnosed

About.com:  Children with Special Needs-First Five Things to do After You Are Diagnosed
